There was a lot more to Chuck than the roles he played in life.
He was a husband. A father. A grandfather. A friend. A co-worker. A photographer. And, for 38 years, a guy who went to work at General Motors every day and did what he had to do.
But those titles don't really tell you who he was.
These pictures do.
Some of them are funny. Some are ridiculous. Some are moments he probably never expected anyone to photograph. And some show a side of Chuck that only the people who knew him best ever got to see.
There was no script for these moments. No posing for the camera. No trying to make things look perfect.
This was Chuck.
The guy who could make people laugh.
The guy who didn't always take himself too seriously.
The guy who could be stubborn as hell. 😂
The guy who loved his family.
The guy who had his moments of strength and his moments of vulnerability.
These are the photographs that remind us that a person's life isn't made up only of the big moments.
The goofy grin.
The bad haircut.
The questionable decision.
The laugh.
The quiet moment.
The look on his face when he thought nobody was watching.
Those are the moments we remember.
So this final collection isn't meant to tell you a story in chronological order.
It's simply Chuck being Chuck.
And that's exactly how I want people to remember him.
